Anjo Caram certainly picked a good time to have his breakout game

The 28-year-old back-up point guard, after all, is known more for his on-ball defense rather than his scoring exploits for the Meralco Bolts.

Averaging just 6.10 points and 1.90 assists for coach Norman Black in the ongoing 2019 PBA Governors, Cup, Caram had his best game as a pro on Sunday as the Bolts repulsed the NorthPort Batang Pier, 103-89.

The former San Beda Red Lion came off the bench like he usually does and uncorked 30 big points. He managed to outscore Northport's reserves on his own, as Meralco held massive 50-20 advantage in bench points.
