Barcelona Sacks Victor Vlades As Youth Coach

News coming from the Nou Camp has confirmed that Victor Valdes been sacked as the Under-19 trainer/coach after a clash with club director and former team mate, Patrick Kluivert

Valdes, former player of the Catalan side and Spanish player was given the role of youth team coach last sometime in July. The former teammates, Valdes and Kluivert suffered a bad relationship in their time working together.

The departure of Valdes was confirmed in a Statement by FC Barcelona that he was no longer needed. He has now been replaced with Franc Artiga.

The cause of the rift according to reports said the pair fell out due to issues regarding team formation and use of Estadi Johan Cruff ground. Valdes opted for 4-4-2 and Kluivert wanted the 4-3-3 style of play
