Luol Deng started as a Bulls, ended as a Bulls
After 15 NBA seasons, Luol Deng has retired from basketball by signing a 1-day contract to retire as a Chicago Bull.

The former two-time All-Star forward has signed with the Chicago Bulls, the team that drafted him 7th overall in 2004 and retired as a member of the team.
Luol Deng played for the Bulls for almost a decade. He made an awesome career as defensive stalwart, selfless teammate, and someone who always gave back to communities especially at Sudan, Africa where he came from.

For his love of the organization that acquired him in the 2004 draft, he choses to end his career to where he started. "No matter what I do for the rest of my career, I think I'll always be a Bulls guy," Deng said last year during a stop in Chicago. The Bulls are honoring Deng by letting him retire as a Bull.

Deng played with Minnesota last season for 22 games before deciding to end his NBA career with Chicago. He averaged 14.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 34.3 minutes per game over 15 seasons with Chicago, Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, and Minnesota Timberwolves.
