SPORTS Token Price currently.
Just wanted to put up a quick post regarding the price of SPORTS tokens currently on Steem Engine.
Please do not take these observations as a criticism, I love the project and am doing whatever I can to help it become a huge success. This post is part of that, I'd hate to see people burnt by paying too much for tokens. That said, I could be completely wrong, and the current price could be fair.
At the current price of 1 SPORT = 0.00301 STEEM, SPORTS has a market cap of just over $100 million.
Comparatively, PALcoin is currently just over $2 million, and the ENG token is just above $1 million.
Some very large post payouts will start in 48 hours, after the token economics where changed due to the exploits found and used by a few users early on. I'm not saying don't buy SPORTS, but to have a Market Cap of $2 million (equal to Pal which is pretty optimistic) the price of SPORT would have to drop by 98%, to a price of around 0.00006 STEEM.
None of this is financial advice, and again not criticising the project. I'd love for this price to last, but just wanted to urge a little caution. Do your own research.

Just an idea. What if we can make all newcomers feel home. Upvoting for their posts and making them feel they are fairly rewarded. That might make the community grow stronger with a promising vision. Just my little thought.

I think when it gets switched over to inflation model the huge payouts will drop way down.

Long story short, a few people edited old posts, close to payout, unrelated to SPORTS, and originally written days before the sportstalk site was launched, to get large payouts days before anyone else. See this post and this post for more info.

You have just said it all as that part is also bothering me a lot as how that will be handle.
By the way, i have an issue, whenever i upvote. it is not displaying my upvote value where as i have like 1,000 sport stake.
I find it takes a few minutes before my upvote shows on the tally. If I want to check, I'll usually wait a few and then refresh to see if it worked.
Liquidity and pricing games. Sad to see but it is what happens with new stuff.
It will all filter out. What is needed is a ton of posting while drawing a lot people here. I just wrote a post about how people love sports, it is one of the biggest ponds there is.
We already have a huge amount of people posting and commenting on the Internet about their favorite sports teams. Why not on Steem? Why not on sportstalk?
Yes, the price will work itself out over the next week or so. It is refreshing to see a bunch of posts on a STEEM site that are not crypto or STEEM related. This is the a bit more like what these tribes should look like. A bunch of people coming together to chat about a topic.

It is fascinating to note that the price of Sports so insane when it first launched, it was roughly $8 yes...$8.
I have seen it drop and drop and I guess it will stabilize after most folks get their post payouts and that will be 2 weeks from now.
Let us all wait and see what happens soon, what do you think should be done to stabilize the price of Sport??
This is such a great project and I will try keeping it clean with original content. Thanks for also believing in this project.
