Kuzma suffered the injury during the summer while he was with Team USA in Australia. He was cleared to do non contact practices after the Lakers returned from China last week. Lakers coach Frank Vogel said he wants to see him do some more work before playing.

The coach said Right now not just talking about ramping up his activity and we're not going to look past two days from now. But hoping the star player will be back soon and he want him to do more work about himself before he start using him for the new season.
