CAS Removes Chelsea's Ban But The Question is, Who Will Frank Lampard Sign Now?

The Court of Arbitration For Sports yesterday halved Chelsea's ban Which means they can now Sign new players in January. Yo be honest, this is coming at the right time because of you ask me I'll say Chelsea is currently heading for the downward spiral, the howbeit started the season magnificently taking teams by suprise now but it seems fatigue seems to be setting in and players like Jorginho, Mason Mount and Willian and feeling the heat of being constant starters in the team for a really long period of time. Truth is, Manchester City has often been also guilty of signing underaged players and they go Scot free but what do you know? It's someone who owns money that knows the way. I won't stir that water and I also won't say Chelsea didn't deserve this ban because over the years Many prospect they've bought have been sold, players like Islam Farouz who was a good player.

In earnest it's really ironical that Chelsea usually signs players but the managers they've been employing so far has never utilized these players and many of them have been sold without even having to test their abilities as players. Had Chelsea not been in the ban I think Lampard won't be employed and players like Tammy Abraham won't be discovered and developed, so it seems the ban has been a blessing in disguise but let's set the record straight the Chelsea youth system was in shambles, no transition at a high rate to the senior team the past couple of coaches only wanted to win trophies and this was really what made it difficult to develop players at the highest stage which was the Senior team. Make no mistake I didn't say winning trophies was bad I only felt it's ironical that Chelsea have suffered severely for signing young players who they haven't even used all this while until the inception of frank Lampard.

In continuation it's a good thing now, but it would be advisable for Chelsea to buy accordingly and now buy every youthful prodigy out there because he has prospects else it might not always be a blessing in disguise everytime, Lampard has done an unbelievable job at Chelsea, putting the development of players at the expense of his job, people might say he didn't have a choice but constantly he's always used Tammy Abraham over Olivier Giroud and that's going for youthfulness over experience and well it's basically paid off all these while. I believe Lampard can make do of now signing quality players currently because he's been in fourth position with zero budget and that's more than doing well but like I said earlier, it's obviously time new set of players now comes in and I believe option to choose from will boost his ability to solidify the top four spot and challenge for titles next season.

So without really mincing words players like Willian, Kepa, Alonso and Jorginho including Azpilicueta needs competition I mean players with quality because I might say it's time they all left the club but it might be an overstatement and people might say they've been loyal over the years . The problem I have with these players isn't loyalty. Of course they're loyal but they're erratic and grossly inconsistent, they mostly do not want to to give their best and they don't strive hard to understand they're they're mostly senior players and must lead by example. The fact that Azpilicueta is Captain signs how soft Chelsea has become. He can't even command motivation from the boys and he himself is not really an example to look up to. So the senior players at Chelsea are mostly the problems and Lampard needs at least five signing to come in and give the Chelsea team a new dimensional Outlook. The defense needs at least two players and an extra striker is needed as well as a two wingers but it's now left for Lampard to discover the players that will fill in this spot.
