Under Frank Lampard, Ngolo Kante has been increasingly underwhelming and Lampard is finding it difficult to integrate him into his side so as to play up to his abilities as well as be one of the middle ground between the youngsters and the older players at Stamford Bridge. Under Antonio Conte I feel Kante players his best, under Maurizio Sarri, he brought out a More attacking side and still kept his defensive side however under Lampard he's neither been good offensively or even defensively and this makes me question the abilites of Frank Lampard as a football manager, the record breaking goal scorer in his hay days was more than a legend at Stamford Bridge but in all fairness, he's leading Chelsea nowhere with his trial and error type of management.

The fact that Kante seems lost with no place to thrive in the team is really concerning, for the past two seasons no player supersedes the quality that Kante brings to the team and it's a no-brainer that Lampard can even mastermind the position where the diminutive french man can play. Ironically Chelsea seems to always do better when he doesn't play and whenever he's available Lampard brings out the most stupid kind of midfield combination instead of reading the opponent and knowing where to better utilize Kante. Chelsea isn't really a quality team yet because they've go no more than one or two quality player and that's why I think Frank is underestimating his duties as a manager. He's got more work to do and the earlier he realizes it, the better for him.

I'm really saddened that Lampard is stuck with the 4-3-3 system which isn't Favorable to Kante. In my opinion, Kante is the best player in the Chelsea team and from my experience, good managers build their teams on their best players and instead he's lost in the young players syndrome what happens to a 4-1-4-1? Where Kante can thrive as a deep lying midfielder? Why not make him the spine of the offensive midfield? Or play a 4-1-2-3? Which can comfortably give room to Jorginho and Kovacic as the further attacking players? Lampard isn't so smart a manager and he can't play to the strength of his players and football is becoming clustered with employing former players and this might be the beginning of mediocrity in a big club as Chelsea.

Without mincing words, Chelsea is in trouble and it looks like they'll be signing average players on deadline day. Kante is heading towards a downward spiral and if Lampard can't find a spot for him while the team thrives then I don't see what he's really doing as a manager. If this should continue the Frenchman might just leave in the summer or the subsequent summer and a good manager will begin to play him to his capacities. For me, it's surprising yo see Chelsea play poorly with Kante and play better without him, it clearly shows that something is totally wrong somewhere and the philosophy or style needs to change completely. Chelsea is inconsistent nowadays and as much as i like the young players cause I believe Lampard needs to find a blend if not he might be forced to resign after the playing Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions league in February.
