Like Pep Guardiola, Should We Raise Concerns As To Eden Hazard's Underwhelming Situation At Real Madrid?

Manchester City Pep Guardiola has expressed concerns as to how and why former Chelsea star Eden Hazard is currently underperforming at Real Madrid and blames the Los Blancos for the underwhelming stats of the 29-year old. In his own words "if Hazard is not playing well then something must be wrong at Real Madrid because he's an amazing player". I won't actually fault Guardia for raising this concerns because Hazard conquered a much more difficult league in the English Premier League and also the French Ligue Un which he played before coming to Chelsea. His stats are generally not beffiting, so far he's scored one goal and had four assists to his name and is currently out at the moment which makes me wonder, are Real Madrid really looking into his injury issues or are they just shuffling the team to look better without him?

My thoughts on this issue is that by now Hazard will have realised it's been a mistake going to Real Madrid, he actually had the opportunity to retire as a Chelsea legend, he left the blues when he was actually 28 and he could have still played five more years producing his best as well but obviously he had an issue with playing for what be considered his dream club, however after giving this situation more thought I came to a realisation that it might not just be his excuse of a dream club that drove him to the Spanish giant but the fact that be felt he might have a higher chance at winning the champions league. Of course let's not forget that Hazard is obsessed with the Champions league title (not that I'm berating him for doing so) and this was the main reason why he chose to play for Chelsea in the first place. Chelsea of course have won two Europa league title of course with his help as well and i thought, should Chelsea have also won a UCL title in the seven years he spent at the bridge he might still be urged to go to Madrid but well it wouldn't pull through.

So majorly he still desires a UCL medal because it might put the icing on the cake on a really boisterous career and he might actually still do this but I feel Hazard may never get to replicate that form that made him one of the most lethal wingers in modern football and why is this so? I'll actually Like to stop looking at the footballing aspect for once to focus on the fact that Real Madrid aren't treating him well, he's a special player and Real Madrid are a money bag with no emotions on how they spend their money. I'll like to liken his situation with what is currently happening to Ngolo Kante at Chelsea, but I feel the situation of the Belgian wizard is far More precarious at the moment. He's been forced to actually be a team player rather than a brilliant player that was for the times he actually played on the pitch and there was this bizarre inability that surrounded Hazard anytime he was on the ball.

Some people actually feels a return to Stamford Bridge will do him good but I think there's more to this than people know. Truth is Hazard cost about €130million and currently he's a Real Madrid asset, I believe Madrid can comfortably forgo him as a lost investment because they have the financial power and because they would have generated a lot of revenue from his jersey sales, however I still think this might be too early. I feel Hazard might be going through a lot currently because he hasn't really cut it. Lets be factual even if he cuts it, he's not more important than the other players in the team and nothing More, but can Hazard adjust to this new phenomenon in future, seeing he enjoyed massive success from being the top dog at Lille and Chelsea? This is a "no" for me. I still however feel Hazard will do just fine soon but he will never replicate his playing days, but if he's okay with being the average contributor just to win the UCL and play for his dream club then who is Guardiola and the media?

He's struggled with injuries, form and competition in that squad that's brimming with talent. Is Pep thinking of bringing him to City? That would be interesting

You're right about the injuries but he's hardly ever injured in Chelsea, Pep is a big fan but I think city is a place Hazard won't play at because of his loyalty to Chelsea

Footballers don't have that loyalty again. They'll go where they're wanted. Time will tell.
