It's no longer news that the new Arsenal Manager Is Mikel Arteta who was formerly of arsenal, Manchester City and is now currently coaching at Arsenal. If i should remember vividly Mikel Arteta's hay days came playing for Everton and not really arsenal or Manchester City. His career has been so complicated that he's managed to stay hidden for quite a while now and only came back to the limelight simply because he's was speculated in the media to become Arsenal's manager of which he was announced about thirty hours ago. Now I've managed to check many social media front and infact I've seen More negative reactions from social media than positive reactions about Mikel Arteta's appointment to be Arsenal's Manager. Some Arsenal fans are asking for a full squad overhaul, while others are asking for a change in philosophy as well as approach towards the game and that Arsenal's board aren't really do this by appointing Mikel Arteta.

In my opinion I think football is currently being plagued by this "former player becoming Manager" thingy and it's basically reducing the standard of the game, apart from Zinedine Zidane who obviously inherited a full squad before he came to Real Madrid as a former player becoming Manager, I'm yet to see a former manager who's actually done well in football management, is it Phil Neville, or Thierry Henry, or the current Frank Lampard who was one of football's greatest best known for scoring from range but can't even instill this philosophy into his midfield players? I'm taking a look at Club Football and it's like former players are taking over as manager and believe it or not I feel before 2040 we'd have more former players taking over as manager and in the next paragraph I'll take time to talk about the negative effect this might have in Football.

Without even mincing words, I categorically think Mikel Arteta wouldn't do well at Arsenal, he might in his first ten games because basically all teams are fired up when they employ a new manager but talking about doing well or seeing him doing well 25 to 30 games in his Kitty I obviously don't feel so and here's why. Arsenal have problems and I think the problems are the reasons why Arsenal can't maintain consistency and win trophies, the board is currently not in allignment to solve this issue and basically thic problems include having strong mentality, maintaining the winning philosophy and planning long time for laurels of which I feel only managers in the rank of Antonio Conte can be able to bring to arsenal. Mikel Arteta will only try to do what he's learned from Guardiola, he's hardly had any experience about what it means to win and really win and bringing him in at arsenal wouldn't really do much I believe he'll just win a couple of games, Ozil will manage to get some playing time and well in their luck will run out.

I don't see Arteta bringing in solidity, apart from the fact that the ratio of players who turned managers doing well is pretty low, I think this appointment is another disappointing move, he's Only 37 I looking at how he'll get the best from players like David Luiz who's 34 and ran away from Chelsea because he didn't want to be under the command of a former team mate who's now become coach. How does he get Aubamayang not just scoring but putting in work to increase impact on the pitch? Will he ask the Arsenal board for his own players? How can he find the right midfield and defence partnership? how does he get the players to stay motivated? All these are questions which I've analysed and I feel Mikel Arteta is hardly up to the task. Arsenal needs a manager who will come in and command the board on what to do and they'll get it done, they need a manager who is a consistent and proven winner at the highest stage and appointing a former player is another show of mediocrity it shows Arsenal have got no ambition and once again another club is reduced to an average conditioning.
