Scouting In The English Premier League; What Has Gone Wrong Over The Years?

Erling Haaland has scored 5 goals in his first too matches for Borrusia Dortmund, 3 goals on his debut and 2 in his subsequent Match after transferring from RB Salzburg, however many has termed this start as a fluke from the young 19 year old who stormed the German league with goals to give, the most angriest of fans of course will be the Manchester United fans and the fact that he chose to go to a German league rather than choose the EPL is a cause for alarm as to how scouting and how things have fallen apart for most big clubs in the English Premier League. In the past a player is once considered to be among the elites if they've passed through an EPL club, but in about three years time I can't remember a huge player who has transferred from a huge team into the EPL and has been doing quite fine. Now with the exception of Liverpool and Manchester City.

Arsenal, Manchester United And Chelsea has had the most terrible three years of their Football clubs. In the past Erling Haaland would even choose to take a reduced wage bill so as to be under the tutelage of such a great Club with a great history, Arsenal can no longer sign quality and they seem to have been spending amiss, should I even talk about Chelsea who has simultaneously signed player like Alvaro Morata, Kepa Arizabalaga, Danny Drinkwater, Ross Barkley and Christian Pulisic To name just a few of which have been the biggest flops and Chelsea scouts can't still scout a quality player inside of the EPL or outside of the EPL. The EPL is being undermined because of their poor performance in the league and in Europe. Now mind you, I'll always make exceptions for Liverpool because they've been building their team since 2010 and now they've found the right formulae, but Liverpool wasn't even amongst the clubs that brought out the glory of the EPL like 10 to 12 years ago.

In earnest, we can say players in the realm of Van Der Sar, Ramirez of Chelsea Or Robin Van Persie of Arsenal isn't available anymore but it'll tell you that scouting players in England has been terrible over the years and Woodward and the Glazer's family can be held culpable in the Manchester United's implosion since legendary Sir Alex Ferguson left the club. The EPL needs oversea players to light up the league but the truth is that not many abroad players are willing to come to the EPL rather great players are leaving, Eden Hazard left Chelsea recently and the joy to watch Chelsea is no longer there and this is something the EPL as a brand should really be concerned about. When you look at these clubs you'll find them reliant on young player like Bukayo Saka, Mason Mount or even Mason Greenwood in other to play football and this is a total capitulation of how the EPL used to be and I blame scouting as a major problem.

Without a doubt, there's been a decline in the EPL, since Arsene Wenger left, it's like the glamour in Arsenal is no longer there. And it'll become difficult to bring good abroad players when a club can be promising. Eden Hazard solely joined Chelsea as the hottest prospect in Europe because of the fact that they've conquered Europe, Erling Haaland refused to join Manchester United because they show no promises of have futuristic ambitions and of course it'll be a really toxic place for the 19-year old and he has got good advicers who warned him against joining a club such as Manchester United and of course that sole advice has paid dividends or is beginning to pay dividends. Like it or not the EPL has lost that factor that makes it the most sought out league in the world and this is coming because of the capitulation. Good football is a thing of the past, making Waves in Europe too and the scouting by various big clubs have been poor. Watch it, I'm touting Adama Traore to leave English football soon and this would have been a failure of the scouting in England.
