In Yesterday's unanticipated EPL Fixture Champions Elect Liverpool found themselves beaten by relegation threatened Watford and it came as a shock to the rest of the world and it there was any hope that Liverpool were going to win the EPL without loosing any game like the Arsenal's 2004 invincibles, then that's been totally shattered now. Two quick goals by Sarr and one late effort in the 72 minute by Troy Deeney Sentenced the reds to their first defeat in 44 matches and my goodness! What a way to lose a game. However, many has been surprised as to the reasons why Liverpool would lose so terribly despite their form and despite how they've dismissed teams so effortlessly without even a hassle and after taking a look at the Liverpool team I've come to these Conclusions.

LIVERPOOL ARE PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY TIRED throughout the whole season we could see goals flowing from all direction for Liverpool however in the last 4 weeks it has been more or less winning by the last minute or having a decision going their way and it was only a matter of time before they actually broke. Let's not debate the fact that VAR (video assistance refree) has made a whole lot of decisions that's been in Liverpool favour and this is one of the reasons why people couldn't see the tiredness in the team. Players like Mane and Salah are fatigued and Lovren in the defence of the reds has been shambolic and we couldn't notice this because their attack is something we pay more attention to rather than the defence. In the UCL athletico Madrid beat Liverpool and the world thought it was a fluke and currently they're still fatigued by playing a Spanish side that's filled with high energy level.

WAFORD WERE DETERMINED We mustn't downplay the fact that Watford was brilliant on the night and they actually took the game to Liverpool in their bid to survive relegation and stay in the Premier League. In truth Liverpool didn't see Watford coming and the fact that they played the first half goalless made Liverpool feel that they could come back late in the second half to nick a winner just like they always do. in truth the most determined sides in the English Premier League are always the teams that are threatened by relegation and over the years we have seen relegation threatened sides beat champions-elect or beat the big sides and in this situation Liverpool met a much more determined Watford team. Troy Deeney for me has been a warrior and he capitalised on the overconfident defence of Liverpool to score the third which finished off Liverpool.

THE TARGET OF WINNING THE EPL HAS BEEN MET. Liverpool has attained their goal of winning the EPL and yesterday there was a little bit of over confidence about them. The truth is, i really do not see them going too far in the champions League either because they can no longer give more other than they are currently giving. Before the game they (Liverpool) comprehended a comfortable win for them and so far they have been managing to grind out results even when the odds were against them but their had to to be a diminishing return and we saw that against athletico Madrid and now we saw it against Watford as well. However there really shouldn't be anything to be ashamed of. They have actually fought well, sitting on 79 points in the English Premier League table they are undoubtedly and deserved winners of the title even if they need four wins to claim the title. Manchester City has been complacent and this also is as a result of fatigue and this is why Liverpool will win the league comfortably even if they lose two or three more matches.
