RE: Esports Is Still Not Being Accepted As Official Event In Olympic 2024

I am definitely an avid watcher of esports, specifically smash and MTG: Arena, but I really don't think esports should be in the olympics. Esports and sports are barely comparable past the superficial comparison that they are competitions played by people a train at a preexisting game. However, compared to actual athletes, the amount of dedication put into esports is honestly kind of disrespectful in comparison. Olympic athletes usually spend their entire lives training their craft, while the games that are featured in esports are only a few years old.
