How was Andrea inspired?

Andrea knew about the two-day contest that will end through Facebook of the Lima 2019 contest, she says that moment she remembered about six years ago, when she was a student in the Graphic Design area, she participated in an iconography course, in where she conducted a study of the Chancay culture, the Lima culture. His teacher asked him to make a design and told him in the form of a game "imagine there is a world sporting event and I want them to make a pet". She made a sketch of a knife, now she could do it after 6 years.

In the part of the name he says that it gave him a bit of difficulty because his design was a humanoid figurine that has the plus of teaching you a bit of culture. Andrea the first name he chose was Quechua, but his family gave him what it meant, so he decided to make an easy name to remember: Milco, the little knife. It means place and we are the headquarters.

Andrea says: "The head of three peaks is represented for the male knives, represents the gods in this case the Inti. He has tattoos at home and arms representing the waves of the sea. Their colors simulate the ceramics of these cultures. His headband it's attached to the nose. Something interesting is that some see Milco somewhat pulled up. The knives are known as "Chinese" and their eyes are up in representation of the deities. "

This is the Mascot of the Pan American Games Lima 2019
