Daredevil Ryan Williams on his 4th Gold and the world's first !

Aussie Ryan Williams won the X-Games gold medal with his insane backflip drop that makes a history in the BMX big air ramp competition. No one ever attempted to make this insane drop in the history of X-Games Minneapolis.

This 25 year-old Ryan Williams left all the commentators stunned in his back flip drop !

With the commentor saying :

“This is going to be groundbreaking, we’re about to see the first backflip drop in attempt,”

“This has never happened before, this is the first backflip drop in we’ve seen on the mega ramp, it’s also the first backflip drop in Ryan Williams has ever tried in his life.”
the commentor added.

William said;

“It’s incredible, this is the third gold in a row, it’s history, no one has ever done it,”

“This is redemption, my first ever X-Games was here last year and I couldn’t put it together. I literally did the same thing, I was having flashbacks. Something in me just said do this run.

“Whatever the best emotion in the whole world, that’s what I felt. Is this real life? Someone was cutting onions somewhere.”

Williams also dedicated that for Dave Mirra who was a legendary BMX Freestyle and was medalled in every X-Games competition between year 1994 and 2009. Mirra by 2016 then commited sucide and later was diagnosed with CTE or chronic traumatic encephalopathy.

He screamed with a winning score of 93.66 and a gold medal at the bottom of the ramp:

William said he was inspired on Dave Mirra:

“I thought, you know what, I’m going to bring in some Dave Mirra spice to this little mega ramp contest,”
“I’d actually never done a backflip drop in before so that’s my first ever backflip drop in on BMX, best place to try it I guess.”

The competition truly give awe to all and also created a link and inspiration to all people who want to share and inspire beginners and to the beginners also who dont quit in their journey to success. We must keep it up to achieve our goals and passion in life !
