Super-featherweight boxer: Hugo Santillán passes away.
The boxing community had tough week considering the death of Russian boxer Maxim Dadashev last Tueday because of the injuries he sustained during a fight the previous Friday.
Just days after Maxim Dadashev's death, the 23-year old boxer Hugo Santillán dies a week from fight injuries he got on Saturday.
Hugo Santillán is a super-featherweight who faced Eduardo Javier Abreu up to 10 rounds in a split decision last Saturday at Club Atlético, San Nicolas.
Santillán has lost his consciousness inside the ring while waiting for the results and was rushed into the hospital. He developed a brain clot and was required for surgery. He never woke up from the following surgery and went into cardiac arrest twice According to the Boxing News.
Rest in Peace Hugo Santillán.
This is sad to hear. Rest in peace to him. Boxing is really a dangerous sport.

Rest in peace, another great boxer died in action.
He may now rest peacefully with a good fighter on his name.
