Pochettino is certainly unhappy because he needs more players with quality to be added to his team in order to outcompete the Big six for ran of the title race otherwise he will face stagnation at the White Hart Lane.

The current Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, is undoubtedly unhappy as his prospects of leaving the club had to be turned down as we saw interests from Real Madrid and Manchester United at the end of the previous season with Manchester United still under the interim management of Ole Gunner Solskjaer. Pochettino who has been remarkable in team management last season was able to secure his team a top four position in the league with Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea being the other contenders. His performances in the premier league are outstanding as has managed to maintain a regular champions league qualification and not forgetting last season where he led Tottenham to the champions league final.
After the departure of MousaDembele in January, Pochettino started the season with the arrival of the new signing Tanguy Ndombele who is to help the team defensively help it once more to secure a champions league slot for the current season. But on the other hand, Tottenham also saw the departure of Kieran Tripier to Atletico Madrid and also Toby Alderweireld is on the last year of his contract after failing to secure a $30 million transfer deal.
With the impressive start to the new season, Tottenham where able to win matches against both Serie A giants Juventus and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. This proved a lot of quality from Tottenham though they lost the friendly with Manchester United.
Despite the tight competition from the premier league, Pochettino has nevertheless enabled Tottenham book a regular slot in the Big six of the league and has maintained the exposure of the team to the champions league hence reaping the benefits and the lumpsome of money that comes with the competition.

What Pochettino is likely to face.

Tottenham has just completed its long awaited stadium, the White Hart Lane and Tottenham as well as Pochettino can borrow a leaf from teams like Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United the challenge of lack of resources that comes with the construction of a new stadium.
