A Hard-Fought Victory for Liverpool over Southampton! ( 2 - 1 )

The goals from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firminho, each of them were scored in other halves as Liverpool escape with a victory over Southampton at St. Mary's Stadium.

The first goal was a bit lately made almost at the end of the first-half thanks to the goal of the Senegal International Sadio Mane who received a pass after the good work in the build-up and converted it into the goal making them lead in the first half.

Their lead was added when the Brazilian International Roberto Firminho delivered their second goal after a clinched pass from Mohamed Salah. Roberto Firminho was able to sent a powerful low shot into the back of the net.

The hope came with Southampton after they were able to score a goal with just eight minutes left of the regulation. The goal of Ings, who received a direct pass from Spanish international goalkeeper Adrian.

Unfortunately, they run out of time hoping to score a late equalizer against the defending Champions League winners and the runner-up of Premier League just one point away behind Manchester City.
