My Voting Behavior Has Drastically Changed for the Better!

avatar

In this post, I want to show how I have been behaving in the past month. Ever since I have shifted my focus into centralized to distributed voting, the chart looks in a very good direction. The chunk users are getting a small slices, which means my votes are likely distributed to more users.

The above pie chart shows my voting distribution in the past 31 days. You'd clearly see that there were bigger slices, they're receiving votes from my account. Self-votes (@korver) and my alt account (@therealspy) before were the biggest beneficiaries. I made a post about that abusive behavior.

Also take note that I do not have relation with @cryptoandcoffee. I loved the way he writes his post, it feels like you've been told a story. I think that's the reason why I was hooked to voting his posts. Let's take a look on my voting behavior on the past 14 and 7 days.

You'll see that the chart looks good mainly because I have escaped voting (and posting) on my alt account @therealspy. So somehow it was positive, but the chart still is not enough for what I want to achieve. So let's try to look on the the past yesterday and three days of my voting behavior.

The chart looks very good on what I see. I'm happy that my voting behavior has doing good each and everyday. It's going to be a process and a continuous effort in rewarding my audience and great authors here. In the next days, I'm looking forward to finish a great initiative that will surely reward great authors.

Awesome! Early on before you have much of an audience it is really hard not to upvote yourself! It looks you're doing a great job!

Yeah I agree and some wanted to get some ROI. Investing in Sportstalk in its early stage is actually risky. I'm glad most people have turned their focus and shifting into a more delicate voting behavior.

It is definitely a risk, but if you feel strongly about something then that risk is worth it (As long as you aren't risking more then you can lose!). Spreading the votes and helping others helps create a stronger community which will benefit the site for the long term.

Hmmm... you are getting better on distributing the votes with time. What about comments? What is your behavior towards good comments. Do they really deserve 2%-10%. I agree with your analysis of cryptoandcoffee's style of writing.

Have a nice day
