The day for of the Premier League is about to come and teams are looking forward to solidify their positions in the standings. Day three has been entertaining and Liverpool was the only team winning their first three games.

The battle in the middle is also tight. Ten clubs were tied having four points in their first three games and five clubs were having only three points and sits at the bottom of the standings. So far, Watford is the only team to have never won a match at this moment which makes them feel comfortable sitting at the bottom.

The Matches

So a couple of hours from now (approximately around 7 - 12 hours) for the teams to play scheduled this day. I believe every match is very important but it is at this moment that they need points the most, as they're looking to find their momentum in solidifying their position in the standings.

  • Manchester United will be visiting Southampton at St. Mary's Stadium, where United has previously suffered a defeat against Crystal Palace (2-1) and Southampton had a win against Brighton (2-0).
  • Crystal Palace will battle against newly promoted Aston Villa. Palace is in a good position to win the game as they previously shocked United in front of their fans with a win.
  • Chelsea will be looking to get their second win under Lampard after a rough first two games with Chelsea. Sheff also came with a 2-1 loss against Leicester City.
  • Newcastle is looking to get their second win of the season in front of their fans and Watford is keen to get their point of the season after being defeated in their first three games.
  • Manchester City will be facing against Brighton in front of their fans, looking forward to catch up with Liverpool.

More of the schedules, you can check it here.

Just a Thought

Since I was not able to join @blanchy.sports' Fantasy Premier League, let's have a guessing game. Which among those matches today you are sure that the club will likely to win?

For me, I'll be comfortable for Manchester City winning against Brighton. They'll be facing them in their home turf and its important for them to win the game to be in a race with Liverpool. What do you think?
