Huddersfield town will begin their campaign back in the championship after been relegated from the premier league alongside Fulham and Cardiff city.
Huddersfield will play their first match against Derby county on Monday evening at home.
Huddersfield and Derby county would be meeting for the first time since October 2016 having met last at Smith's Stadium in a league game when Elias Kachunga scored a 90th minute winner for the Terriers in a 1-0 win.
So far, Derby county have lost two of their last 13 league games against Huddersfield (W8 D3 L2),since September 2012 to October 2016.
The two club in all of their three league meetings in their first league matches of a campaign have ended in a draw. The first was in 1947, 1958 and 1962 respectively.
This would be the first time Huddersfield town will be starting a league campaign with a Monday match while their opponent last did so in September 1913.
