England Fall Short Yet Again

To be fair, Italy have been the best team in the tournament, in my opinion. They're stable at the back, good going up front. The right balance in all departments.

England played beyond my expectations to be honest. When they were rated as favorites to win, I put them down to the usual England hype before every tournament. They did well, especially against Germany, and got to the finals.

Gareth Southgate is a decent England manager. But let's be real here. He's not the most tactical and putting in Saka as the last penalty taker wasn't the best decision. England wouldn't stand much of a chance if they weren't playing at home so it will be interesting to see how well they do at the world cup.

Hopefully no Italian fans get assaulted.
