Fitness: 18th August 2020 + A Did You Know Question
Good Morning
Today morning was a bit of a busy time and hence had to resort to postponing the exercise for later in the day. So, by evening while I was still typing away to glory on my laptop, my daughter got me out like no tomorrow.
So, I had to exercise, even if I had any other plans. Let’s get to know what I was up to.
We focused on one of my daughter cardio-cum-all-body exercise regime. It was a longer version of the one we used to do earlier every evening.
Here it is:
- Warmup – Couple of minutes
- Jumping-jacks
- Wall-sits
- Pushups
- Crunches
- Step-ups
- Squats
- Tricep Dip
- Planks
- High Knees
- Lunges
- Pushups and Rotation S
- Side Planks – each side
Each of the exercise was thirty-second long and we took minimal break in between. It was good enough to get my adrenaline boiling. Then I was back to my laptop. It was fun and my partner does not back down – so that’s good news.

Bijender Singh of India holds the record for most pushups in an hour. He completed 3,877 pushups in an hour, thereby entering the Guinness World Record.
The astonishing thing is that the record was created in 1988 and stands to this day!
