Fitness: 8th December 2020 + A Did You Know Question

Good Morning

I have to admit that the mornings are so much cooler. I was wanting to go for jogging for at least a month now, and today I took the plunge. I couldn’t hold back anymore, and I loved it.

Being winter, it's quite dark even by 6:30 a.m., just the way I like it. I finished my morning meditation by 5:40 a.m. and then got ready to leave for the jog by 6:05 a.m. Since marathon requires running on roads, I skipped the usual few days of running on mud grounds. I started straight on the roads.

Since it was my first day of running in some days, I started with just 3 km of running and 1 km of walking. It was good. My body held up well. It did not feel like a gap at all. So, that was the good part.

After the jog, once I reached home, I followed up with some breathing exercises for the stomach. It had a stomach vacuum exercise in particular. I did the breathing exercise for ten minutes and then was all ready for the day.

It was quite an experience and one that I will be keeping up for the rest of the winter. After that, we’ll see.

That’s it from me for now. I will meet you all tomorrow.

Namaste!

Also, I wish you all a great day!

Did You Know?

Bijender Singh of India holds the record for most pushups in an hour. He completed 3,877 pushups in an hour, thereby entering the Guinness World Record.

The astonishing thing is that the record was created in 1988 and stands to this day!

So, anyone plans to challenge the record? 😊
