Weights: 13th May 2020 + A Did You Know Question

Good Morning

So, this is the second day in succession that my daughter has woken up for the morning exercise. She is enjoying it for sure, and I love it too. Like I had mentioned yesterday, weights are out of bounds for her, and hence she follows the regime that she did the previous day evening. I will be writing about that in a minute.

But how is your day going? I am sure there is fun in life. We face an extension of the lockdown until the end of this month, but no problem, as most have figured out to work and live in this manner. It would be interesting how life will appear after the lockdown.

So, yesterday evening my lil Colonel got to exercising with me again. It marks her first day, where she exercised in the morning and evening. 😊

Here’s what we did yesterday evening.

  1. Warm-up: About a couple of minutes
  2. Suicide-drill: 2 Sets
  3. Shuttle-run: 1 set with 4 reps
  4. Jumping-jacks
  5. Wall-sits
  6. Push-ups
  7. Crunches
  8. Step-ups
  9. Squats
  10. Tricep Dip
  11. Planks
  12. High Knees
  13. Lunges
  14. Push-ups and Rotation
  15. Side Planks – each side

Each exercise lasted for 30-seconds with a 10-seconds break in between. This is the same regime which my daughter followed for today morning. I, on the other hand, focused on the cores and biceps. Again, I followed the triplets mode of exercises.

Here are the triplets for today:

  1. 1-set planks
  2. 1-set weights for cross-fit
  3. 1-set weights for biceps

I did a total of ten triplets. It was good. I could get through the cross-fit a lot better, and I attribute that to the abdomen exercises that I am doing every day; definitely, a thumbs up for the abs exercises every alternate day. I even added just one set of triceps and reverse push-up at the very fag end, and that’s where the curtains came down. 😊

So, that’s it for today. I will be meeting you all tomorrow.

Namaste!

And wish you all a lovely day!! 😊

Did You Know?

Carlton Williams holds the Guinness World Record for the most push-ups in an hour. He did a total of 2, 682 push-ups in an hour with few breaks.

If you fancy watching the entire one hour video, you can do so here:

So, now you know who Carlton is, don’t you? 😊
