Good Morning

Today the outside temperature had dropped a bit because of a lot of cloud formation. We would be soon approaching monsoon but not yet. So, it was a bit of a surprise to see such a cloud cover, though I am happy about it. 😊

Anyway, it was a pleasant morning (I just gave you the reason) and was quite fulfilling. I could do a lot of energy exercises and my normal physical ones too. And, by now you know that my daughter accompanies me in my morning schedules, so it was all the more fun.

Let’s get to know what exercises I followed, shall we?

Yesterday evening I was a bit busy with work, and I did not want my daughter to miss the evening regime, so I asked her to do while I watched. I was more of a coach yesterday than a partner. Here is what she did:

  1. Warm-up: About a minute
  2. Dynamic abdominal plank: 45-seconds
  3. Burpees: 6
  4. Side planks: 30-seconds each side
  5. Rock-climbing: 45-seconds
  6. Reverse cycling: 30-seconds
  7. Reverse row-hold: 30-seconds

And then she proceeded with her own fun time. It is summer vacation, after all, for her. 😊

Today morning was calm as usual, and my daughter did the same regime outlined above, while I focused on abs. I am happy with my abs regime as my cross-fit exercises feel a lot easier now. It is making a difference. I am glad that I started the abs workout.

Again I followed the triplet form of exercise, and here they are:

  1. 1-set crunches
  2. 1-set reverse crunches
  3. 1-set weights for obliques (alternated with dynamic side planks)

I did a total of six triplets and spent an extra five minutes on obliques alone. It was a satisfying day. Now, I am on with my work and feel full of energy. Awesome day as always! 😊

So, that’s it for today. I will be meeting you all tomorrow.

Namaste!

And wish you all a lovely day!! 😊

Did You Know?

Carlton Williams holds the Guinness World Record for the most push-ups in an hour. He did a total of 2, 682 push-ups in an hour with few breaks.

If you fancy watching the entire one hour video, you can do so here:

So, now you know who Carlton is, don’t you? 😊
