Weights: 15th June 2020 + A Did You Know Question

Good Morning

Since 6th April, yesterday was the first day that I took a day off from exercise. It was great, and I think I allowed my body to double up my strength. Experts do recommend a break, but I just did not want to, until I had to take one. So, all’s well that restarts well.

What do I mean? I mean that I started once again with my daily routine on Monday morning. Oh, by the way, it was a lovely Monday morning.

Today my focus was on my abs, glutes and lower back. I used the pentapulet form of exercise for today’s regime.

Here are my pentapulets:

  1. 1-set of crunches
  2. 1-set of reverse crunches
  3. 1-set of weights for obliques (alternated with side planks)
  4. 1-set of glutes
  5. 1-set of lower back

I did a total of six pentapulets and was sweating more than usual. I added a five minute non-stop weights for obliques. I am happy the way my abs is shaping up, and all of that happened during the lockdown. Well, whaddaya say! 😊

Anyway, that’s it from me for today. See you all tomorrow.

Namaste! 😊

Also, I wish you all a great day!

Did You Know?

George Hood of the US holds the record for abdominal planks. The record stands at 10 hours 10 minutes. The previous record-holder was Mao Weidong of China, who held the plank position for 8 hours and 1 minute.

Phew, even the previous record-holder wasn’t bad, in my opinion. My longest plank so far has been for a two-and-a-half-minute. That’s tiny in comparison to the record holders.

What was your best abdominal planks time?

Let me know in the comments.😊
