Good Morning

The pleasant weather continues, though, it hasn’t started raining yet. We can feel the heat, albeit through the clouds. It isn’t burning down like before and something to feel good about. It appears that we will have an early monsoon.

Yesterday was a lot busier on the personal front, and I suspect today will be too. But this busy is the fun busy where I am all keen and happy to dive in straight. 😊

No matter what, I intend to keep the momentum going as far as my exercises are concerned.

Talking about exercises, yesterday evening, I joined my daughter again, and we did the following group.

  1. Warm-up: About a minute
  2. Suicide-drill: 2 Sets
  3. Shuttle-run: 1 set with 4 reps
  4. Jumping-jacks
  5. Wall-sits
  6. Push-ups
  7. Crunches
  8. Step-ups
  9. Squats
  10. Tricep Dip
  11. Planks
  12. High Knees
  13. Lunges
  14. Push-ups and Rotation
  15. Side Planks – each side
  16. Langdi

As explained before, each of the above exercises last for 30-seconds with a 10-seconds break. And then we hi-five ourselves by playing Langdi at the end of the activities. 😊

Today morning, I focused on my shoulders and got through my triplets in record time. I guess, exercising with a partner, my daughter, in this case, has its merits. Of course, she followed the same regime mentioned above while I was on to weights.

Here are the triplets that I followed today:

  1. 1-set of Surya namaskar (Added two sets of side planks too)
  2. 1-set of weights for shoulders
  3. 1-set of weights for triceps

I did a total of six triplets and added one set of reverse pushup and biceps. It was great. So, that was how my day looked so far. I intend to keep the super-duper momentum going ahead. So, I will see you again tomorrow. 😊

Namaste!

And wish you all a lovely day!! 😊

Did You Know?

I had posted earlier that George Hood of the U.S. holds the record for the abdominal planks. That record stands at 8 hours 15 minutes and 15 seconds.

Here is a video of the man in action and receiving the Guinness Record certificate.

Watch and have fun:

Feeling inspired? Trying doing a three-minute plank to start with and then take it as much as you can go! 😊
