Weights: 20th May 2020 + A Did You Know Question
Good Morning
I am back after a superbly busy day yesterday. It was so busy that I had to skip the evening regime with my daughter, though I encouraged her to do the exercises alone. Actually, I slowed down a bit in the afternoon as I was feeling sleepy. Had that not happened, I would have been able to exercise with my daughter as well. I will keep that in mind today.
So, the day is good, or maybe the energy of doing so much fills me with more, and I feel great! Hope to carry the uber-productive streak through today as well.
But before that, let’s get to know my exercise regime.
Like I said, yesterday evening was my daughter’s solo workout. She did it with military precision but was disappointed that we did not play Langdi. Today I will make up to her and do some extra time of Langdi.
So, coming to my morning regime, it was a day of cores and biceps. I did my usual triplet style of exercises.
- 1-set of planks
- 1-set of weights for cross-fit
- 1-set of weights for biceps
I did a total of ten triplets. Like the last time, I felt the cross-fit to be a lot easier ever since I started my abs focused exercises. That’s good news for me. Besides, I could just power through the workouts where previously I would have been puffing and panting—a welcome change in me. Also, I concluded with a set of triceps and reverse push-up. I was happy!
So, that’s it from me for today. I will meet you tomorrow.
Till then, namaste! 😊
And wish you all a lovely day!

Did You Know?
I had posted earlier that George Hood of the U.S. holds the record for the abdominal planks. That record stands at 8 hours 15 minutes and 15 seconds.
Here is a video of the man in action and receiving the Guinness Record certificate.
Watch and have fun:
Feeling inspired? Trying doing a three-minute plank to start with and then take it as much as you can go! 😊
