Good Morning

One more early morning day turned out well for me. Got a lot of things done and more items are to be closed today. Let’s see how that works. Anyway, on the exercise front, I focused on shoulders today following the abs regime yesterday.

Let’s get to know what I did.

With my regime now alternating with abs every second day, my upper body schedule gets an automatic break. Earlier shoulders, cores and chest would be completed over three days. With my abs plan between these, the upper body schedule now gets completed over six days. But it is the right style as I anyway wanted to focus on my abs.

So, what was my schedule for the day? Here it is:

  1. 1-set of Suryanamaskar (alternated with wide-arm pushups)
  2. 1-set of weights for shoulder
  3. 1-set of weights for triceps

These three different sets done together form a triplet of exercises. I did a total of six triplets and added one set of biceps and reverse pushup at the very end. That completed my shoulder regime. Tomorrow, I will be back to my abs workout. Yayy! 😊

So, that’s it from me today. I will meet you here tomorrow.

Namaste!

Also, I wish you all a great day!

Did You Know?

George Hood of the US holds the record for abdominal planks. The record stands at 10 hours 10 minutes. The previous record-holder was Mao Weidong of China, who held the plank position for 8 hours and 1 minute.

Phew, even the previous record-holder wasn’t bad, in my opinion. My longest plank so far has been for a two-and-a-half-minute. That’s tiny in comparison to the record holders.

What was your best abdominal planks time?

Let me know in the comments.😊
