Weights: 23rd June 2020 + A Did You Know Question
Good Morning
Yet another exceptional day dawns at the horizon. I am happy with the progress that I have made in the past two months, both on the work and exercise front. I have achieved more than what I had done in the past two years. And no, I am not exaggerating. 😊 What have I achieved more? Well, a lot. Maybe, I will require a separate post on that one.
So, as I had mentioned yesterday, I was focusing on my abs today. How did I go about it?
Let’s find out.
I have two different abs regime that I follow. One is the breathing focused one, and the other is the one focused on weights. Today, it was the latter that I went about doing. Also, the second one is the longer version of the two abs styles.
Each set comprises of five different exercises with minimal or no break. I call it pentapulets (because of five), and here they are:
- 1-set of crunches
- 1-set of reverse crunches
- 1-set of weights for obliques (alternated with side planks)
- 1-set of glutes
- 1-set of lower back
I completed a total of six pentapulets and was pleased with my achievement. Now, I have to get going with other things. I will be focusing on chest tomorrow, and I will update on the same in tomorrow's post.
For now, that’s it from me. I will catch up soon! 😊
Namaste!
Also, I wish you all a great day!

Did You Know?
George Hood of the US holds the record for abdominal planks. The record stands at 10 hours 10 minutes. The previous record-holder was Mao Weidong of China, who held the plank position for 8 hours and 1 minute.
Phew, even the previous record-holder wasn’t bad, in my opinion. My longest plank so far has been for a two-and-a-half-minute. That’s tiny in comparison to the record holders.
What was your best abdominal planks time?
Let me know in the comments.😊
