Weights & Planks: 1st April 2020 + A Did You Know Question

Good Morning

Yet another beautiful day albeit in lockdown. The customary walks and runs in the morning are unavailable for a week now. No sweat, as I have some weights at home. That means I continued with my daily regime.

Today I was more focused on biceps, push-ups, suryanamaskar and planks. I upped the frequency from the last time and ended up doing more reps. It is still not the ultimate peak of how much I can do, but I am happy.

Planks have become an integral part of my regime and I guess now I should plan to increase the time in each rep. Thus far I used to do more reps of one-minute planks and to increase the intensity, maybe bump it up to two or three minutes. That would cool.

Anyway, it was a glorious day and I hope to keep it that way!

Good day! 😊

Did You Know?

The planks record for male stands at 10 hours 10 minutes. It was set by George Hood of Illinois.

The planks record for female stands at 4 hours 20 minutes set by Dena Glowacka.

Cool to know, isn’t it?
