Irish middleweight man Luke Koehler (17-2-1, 5 KOs) challenged former UFC champion in two weight divisions Conor McGregor to a boxing match when he found out that a UFC fighter had hit an older man in the face for refusing to drink Proper 12 whiskey.
“It's sad to see MacGregor sink so low. He did the same with my friend a couple of years ago and paced playing gangsters.
I would be happy to put him in his place if he had the eggs to enter the ring again, ”said Koehler.
Then the boxer confirmed that Conor had accepted the challenge.
“He agreed after having a hysterical match over the phone. But I doubt that he will fight. For him, this would be the fastest way to regain the respect of the Irish, but respect and class are something that he does not have and cannot be bought for money, ”Köhler said.
Luke Köhler is the WBO middleweight champion of Europe. McGregor spent his first and last fight by boxing rules in August 2017, when he lost by knockout to Floyd Mayweather.
