Batshuayi Shine Against Hull City, Will He Get His Chance Against The Foxes?

Following the results of the FA cup yesterday, the Blues has now progress to the 5th round of the competition despite facing a big test in the last minutes of the game, it was made to be an easy win for them when Belgium forward man Batshuayi put the team ahead in just 6 minutes of the game and for the fact the the Blues enjoyed almost 70% of the ball possession put them in the right position to secure the maximum points which they eventually did but didn't come in an easy way as their manager Frank Lampard couldn't hide his feelings after the game, to him, his players ought to have seal the game to avoid the late pressure against Hull City. Both Pedro, Mount and Barkley all missed a clear chances that could have resulted into a goal but allows Hull City goalkeeper George Long to earned some brilliant saves. Oluwafikayo Tomori doubled the Blues lead before Hull city pulled one back through Grosicki

Coming down to the man who led the team yesterday in person of Michy Batshuayi, it was really a good one for him yesterday to have put the team ahead with his strike and following the injury sustained by young striker Tammy Abraham and the fact that Giroud is eying a move away from Stamford Bridge, the manager may have no choice than to stick to Batshuayi in their next game which is away to Leicester City in the league. Lampard after the game against Hull City yesterday described Michy goal as a great one that will help the striker to gain back his confidence in front of goal as he finally ended a 14 matches streak without a goal. One of the department that the club needs to restructure is the striking department, although the defense is not an exception because in some of their last games now which they should have get the maximum points or at least, shared the points, they have failed to hold the last 10 minutes pressure.

We can't dispute the fact that Tammy has performed brilliantly this season with his goals because no one expect to see him among the leading scorer in the league which eventually happened but injury has be a major problem affecting the young striker this season and had caused some setback in his finishing, he remain a doubt now when the team will be playing against the Foxes in game week 25 and with no natural 9 available for selection except Michy, it will be another game for him to earn the manager trust. Leicester City is not going to be easy for the Blues because the Foxes defeated the Hammers 4-1 at King's stadium last week and will be a boost for them when they welcome Chelsea but they will also face the issue of Vardy not match fit. There has been some speculation some times that Michy may force his way out of Stamford Bridge due to lack of playing time and in preparation for the EURO 2020 and with Chelsea linking up with the likes of Cavani in the transfer window, the Blues may loose Michy to another club if he didn't get the chance he deserved. It is more of scoring goals rather than getting a chance against Leicester because that is what has placed Tammy ahead of him in the team, Michy is strong and can hold the ball very well but for him to earn his place in the starting line up, he must work on his finishing.
