Super Eagle Of Nigeria Became The Bronze King

There is much to talk about in the ongoing AFCON tournament in Egypt but the most captivating one has to do with the Super Eagle of Nigeria as the team secured the bronze today after defeating Tunisia by 1-0.

Despite the late lost to Algeria in the semi final which still exist on many Nigeria fans heart, the team still make sure they did everything right to secured the third place and that takes it to the 8th times the team are winning it straight.

In fact the team has never lost any third place matches they played in the AFCON competition, they have won all the bronze medal they have played for and below is a review of years they have won it.

The Super Eagle of Nigeria had a good start to the game when Odion Ighalo scored in just 3 minutes into the game and that was the only different that separated the two teams. Tunisia had the chance to equalize minutes after Ola Aina fouled Wahbi Khazri but the effort was later blocked. Lots of chances were created but non results into a goal.
