Wolverhampton last season after gaining promotion to the Premier League really surprised everyone with their impressive display winning some unbelievable matches that now placed them in the position to quality for the Europa league through some play off matches..

It was the first leg match in the 2nd round of the play off and the team really did well by returning to winning ways in Europe since 1980 after Diogo Jota put the team ahead in the 37 minutes of the game when he scored a volley and also became the first player to score for the club in European competition in 39 years.

Hale had the chance to put the visitors ahead in just 7 minutes of the game when his shot went wide off the post and since then the visitors didn't have much control over the game as it was Wolverhampton who dominated the match with lots of chances. Crusaders goal keeper O'Neill had a busy day by making some beautiful saves form Ruben Neves, Morgan, Moutinho, Leander and Diogo Jota in the first half before Jota finally strike in 8 minutes into the half time.

Jota was the player who took the show for Wolverhampton in that encounter when he also had a chance to double his goal in the final minutes of first half but O'Neill denied him the chance to make sure his team is just 1 goal down into the second half. The second half begins and Wolverhampton continued to show their tactics while Crusaders just sit back to avoid another goal.

O'Neill with all his effort in the game finally gave Wolverhampton the second goal with an error when he was trying to clear off a cross collided with his teammate which allow Ruben Vinagre to poke the ball into an empty net.

With the two goals lead in the first leg, Wolverhampton will now be going to Belfast with full confidence to play the second leg of the play off before visiting Leicester City in their opening game of the premier league.

Yeah man, you are right. Wolvehampton will be a team to watch out for this season just like they did last season.
