Premier League Top 4: Updated Odds

Although the title race may be coming to a close, the battle for a top 4 finish looks to continue well into the second half of the season.

Unexpected results for numerous teams have once again seen the odds shift somewhat for a coveted place in the Champions League next season.

Leicester

Previous Odds: 1.27
New Odds: 1.28
Implied Probability: 78.1%

Despite being out of the title race now, Leicester are still heavy favourites for a top 4 finish. They'll need to get back to winning ways to avoid the odds drift but, for now, they're looking good.

Chelsea

Previous Odds: 1.44
New Odds: 1.88
Implied Probability: 53.2%

Another loss for Chelsea has seen their odds drift quite significantly. If they're not careful they'll slip out of the top 4 and,
with such a young team, it might be difficult for them to find their way back in if this were to happen.

Tottenham

Previous Odds: 3.10
New Odds: 2.24
Implied Probability: 44.6%

Resurgence under Mourinho continues for Tottenham and their odds have shortened following another win and other teams dropping points. There's still a fair bit of work to be done but they're in a pretty healthy position going into the second half of the season.

Manchester United

Previous Odds: 7.80
New Odds: 5.10
Implied Probability: 19.6%

Manchester United's odds are bouncing around at the moment due to their inconsistency but a win against Newcastle has helped them big time. They're at a crossroad at the moment and a couple of wins or defeats would move the odds massively in either direction.

Wolves

Previous Odds: NA
New Odds: 15.0
Implied Probability: 6.7%

This is the first time Wolves have been included in this list and it's simply because their odds are now better than Arsenal's. It's highly unlikely they'll be able to get past the other contenders but they're in a position to finish relatively high up the table.

Arsenal

Previous Odds: 20.0
New Odds: 19.0
Implied Probability: 5.3%

Arsenal are pretty much out of it at this point and new managers aren't helping so far. It looks like they'll have to regroup and go again next season.
