Novak Djokovic defeated Roger Federer in the longest final in history

Novak again faced the Swiss, the world number 1 was crowned champion in a final for the history, the Serbian revalidated his Wimbledon title in five sets; 7-6 (5), 1-6, 7-6 (4), 4-6 and 13-12 and have raised a double match point.

The two players have faced each other 48 times in 13 years - seven more than Federer with the Spaniard Rafael Nadal - and the Serbian increased his advantage to 4, with 26 wins against 22.

Novak victorious in the first set, was 7-6 (7-5 ​​in tie break) after having battled for 58 minutes. From there it was noted that there was a hard meeting between the two.

However, Federer recovered quickly and the second set was 6-1 in just 25 minutes, with three breaks, we left a sample of what the Swiss tennis player can do when he proposes it. However, the third was again a duel won by Djokovic in the tie break 7-4.

Already in the fourth set the Serbian could break a serve, but it was in vain because the Swiss showed his best image and won 6-4.

The fifth and final set was a luxury for fans who could appreciate the high level shown by both. Djokovic was able to break in the sixth game, but then after Roger recovered and returned to level the score.

The definition was stretched until tiebreak, after Djokovic managed to raise a double match point.

Federer with a touch 'No-Look' generated an incredible ovation, but failed to win the match.

With this triumph, Djokovic increases to 16th Grand Slam title, the fifth on turf, and approaches the Spanish Rafael Nadal, who has 18.
