Liverpool's Alex Oxlade Chamberlain has confirmed that he is on the right track after scoring the winning goal against Belgian Genk (2-1), on Tuesday evening, in the fourth round of Group E competitions in the Champions League.

Chamberlain scored a beautiful goal, a week after he scored against Arsenal with a powerful shot, in the price of the League Cup final, noting that he scored two more goals in the first game against Genk, two weeks ago.

The series of strong performances came after the English player missed 366 days on the pitch after a knee injury suffered late last season.

Chamberlain, who was putting snow on his ankle after the game, said in remarks quoted by the BBC (BBC): "It's just a blow, Milly (Milner) exposed to it every day and go forward .. It (ankle) a little swollen, but things Fine".

"I feel better after each match physically, but I think more improvement is coming, in terms of defense and pressure with the right force."

"It takes time to come back, but I think I'm getting better," he said. "I'm happy with the way things are going. It's important to get the three points and progress in the group. In general, we're happy to win."
