4 players, ban for life in the AFC

The 4 football players will not be able to play again after being banned by the Asian Football Confederation for trying to cook the game at the AFC Cup in 2017 and 2018.

Defender Kursanbek Sheratov, striker Vladimir Verevkin and defender Iliaz Alimov of Kyrgyzstan and goalkeeper Abduaziz Mahkamov of Tajikistan will no longer be able to play in any football-related activities.

Sheratov has been found guilty of trying to manipulate a game by his group Dordoi FC during the 2017 AFC Cup season. He also eventually supports betting connected to the game.

Verevkin, Alimov and Mahkamov were found guilty after being involved in the attempted manipulation of their FC Alay team's game during the 2017-2018 AFC Cup season.
