Menjamu Burnley di Stadion Anfield, Liverpool harus puas berbagi poin dengan tim tamu. Hasil seri ini mengentikan rekor kemenangan kandang 100% Liverpool musim ini. Liverpool berhasil mencetak gol terlebih dahulu melalui sundulan Robertson memanfaatkan umpan Fabinho. Unggul satu gol, Liverpool terus menekan Burnley, tapi sayangnya tidak ada peluang yang berhasil dikonversi menjadi gol. Kiper Burnley, Nick Pope menjadi bintang di laga ini.

Terus menyerang, Liverpool dikejutkan oleh gol balasan Burnley melalui Jay Rodriguez. Sampai akhir laga tidak ada gol tambahan dari dua klub dan laga pun berakhir 1-1. Dengan poin yang sudah dikumpulkan saat ini yaitu 93 dan sisa 3 pertandingan, masih ada kemungkinan bagi Liverpool untuk mengukir poin 100 mengikuti langkah Manchester City tahun lalu.
