Football fans out there know Arsenal need additional legs to strengthen their backline this seaseon.

It has been said that Unai Emery wants to sign two centre-backs this summer. There is no argument about that position because we are obviously lacking there.

With Koscielny having problem with the club concerning his decision not to travel to U.S.A over payment of £45,000-a-week contract of two years extension from £90,000-a-week remaining from his 12 months.

Arsenal is already linked with a £10million move for Olympiacos defender Abou Cisse.

Arsenal scouted Abou Cisse extensively last season and he is priced at £10million.

William Saliba, a Saint-Etienne centre-back is also said to have agreed to join Arsenal.

It is believed that Arsenal agreed a five-year deal with the 18-year-old. It is believed that the defender will cost Arsenal €30m (£27m) with add-ons and will be loaned back to St Etienne for the 2019-20 season.

There is another news linking Arsenal to Celtic defender Kieran Tierney but with a stiff competition from North London rivals Tottenham.

The 22-year-old Tierney is a defender which would be a potential replacement for Monreal.

While these are positive news, we need to start closing these deals because a new season without new young legs could be disastrous.

A team's offensive tactics is actually a good backline because without them, one can concede unnecessary goals and Arsenal need to do a good job in that department.
