Arteta defeated at the Emirates

Arteta first home game ended in a 2-1. It was a mixed feelings after we controlled most of the game but couldn't bury it in the first half.

We had many clear chances in the first half that if buried, we would be singing a different tune by now.

We had accurate passes and about 53% of the ball possession in the first half. We had more shots at goal too and could have won it if those created chances were converted.

Arteta is very sad after the game and it is understandable. It could be a question of wrong substitution as we conceded a goal after Mesut was substituted.

But Leno needs to take the responsibility for such huge error. He came out with the intention to parry the ball but missed it and Joginho scored. Joginho who ought to have been sent off after pulling Guendouzi.

The referee decided it was not enough and instead awarded yellow card to Lacazette for complaining.

Today's match was one of those Arsenal matches i would watch and be very sad. I had all my hopes high and thought we could have won the match.

But there are lot of positives to take away from the match. Many will agree that we haven't seen this kind of Arsenal in many months. They played really well and a different substitution (say Reiss Nelson) would have given us a different result from what we have now.

Next is Manchester United. It will be a cracker but i still believe in this team to produce something magical.
