Mikel Arteta has hinted on the fact that the club will likely retain Nketiah for the remainder of the season.

The young striker was withdrawn from his loan spell at Leeds which was unfruitful. He had zero playing time at Leeds.

Nketiah started just twice for Leeds as he suffered to secure a regular playing time for the Championship side.

Arteta puts Nketiah's recall on lack of playing time at Leeds City.

Arteta did not affirm in his press conference that Nketiah will stay but Lacazette misfiring might prompt him to retain the young striker as an alternative striker.

Nketiah showed promising features during the preseason scoring wonderful goals before Emery decided loan was best for him.

With 1 striker at Arsenal currently, i think Nketiah should be allowed to stay at the club for the remainder of the season.

Having two strikers at the club is not a bad idea because it gives us option in the attack. It gives the coach the option to choose who leads the striking force.

Every team needs competition among the players. It makes them perform at their best and produce good result.
