Liverpool vs Manchester United was another proof that no team is in their level.
While the match was largely a Liverpool's game, considering the ball possession, it is easy for Manchester United to accept the defeat.
59% to Liverpool in first half showed how interesting the match was.
It is important to note that Liverpool have won 21 out of their 22 Premier League matches this season. The only point they dropped was at Old Trafford when Manchester United nearly claimed 3 points before late substitute, Lalana levelled the game.
It is fair to say Manchester United also had clear chances but lacked that final touches to burry the game.
They probably missed their key man, Rashford who missed the match due to injury.
Fred, for me, stood out in today's match. He had a good game and missed some clear chances too. On a good day, those chances should have been buried.
Martial hardly showed any promising move in the game. He was practically out played as he struggled to break the Liverpool defense.
An early substitution would have helped the Red Devils a bit considering the change of game we saw when Greenwood and Mata came in.
They changed the game and United nearly got their equaliser but a good counter attack which saw Salah in the face of goal buried the game in the last minute of the match as Liverpool stole the 3 points.
Liverpool now lead the Premier League table by 16 points. They have 64 points while second placed Manchester City have 48 points.
If they can continue this way, they might win the trophy this season. They could have won it last season but a lack of commitment and their inability to maintain their winning form cost them 13 points.
Hopefully, this wont be a repeat of it. Goodluck!
