well i agree with you there on all counts. I have a soft spot in my heart for any player that is a bit older, because I am a bit older also. It just doesn't make sense to me from a management point of view but I suppose that is why his contract isn't very lucrative. They'll make great use of him if he can manage to not be injured but that just seems very unlikely to me.

He's got a net worth of nearly $40 million, so hopefully he has been sensible with his finances over the years because if he gets released without playing due to injury with the Rockets, I don't think anyone would be willing to gamble on him again.
