Bangladesh Cricket Board(BCB) has declined an offer from Pakistan Cricket Board to play a day-night test in Karachi on the 15th of April. BCB director said that the team management talked about this and decided not to play a day-night for now. They cited lack of preparations as the reason. Bangladesh recently lost a T20I series against Pakistan and also a test match by a huge margin.
Bangladesh will be traveling back to Pakistan to play one-day international matches after PSL. The performance of Bangladesh was very poor in the recent matches which they played against Pakistan. However, some of their major players were absent which made it easier for Pakistan to defeat them.
Bangladesh played a series in Pakistan after 12 years. The reason they stated for not playing a day-night test doesn't look like a solid one. Perhaps, there are still some security concerns that might have prompted them not to play that test. Pakistan has been strived of international cricket for so long now and perhaps now is the time that some of the major cricket playing nations start to visit Pakistan.
