De Villiers Might Feature in ICC World T20 2020
There is a possibility that the World's best batsmen of the current era might play im the World T20 which is scheduled to take place towards the end of this year in Australia. Speaking to a news reporter in Australia, de Villiers said that he would definitely love to play at the highest level one more time. He further said that he is in talks with the coach and the captain and they were all looking to make it happen. However, he stressed in the fact that it is not a guarantee and he wanted to play his best cricket in the ongoing t20 leagues.
South Africa were very poor in the recently concluded World Cup which was played in England. De Villiers wanted to return to yhe team during the World Cup but the management didn't allow that at that time and that was a good decision to be honest.
South Africa's assistant coach said that de Villiers will not just walk in and play, he will have to wait for the processes o happen. He said this in response to the wishes of de Villiers. It doesn't matter how big a player you are, you have to earn every opportunity. Same goes with de Villiers as well. He might be the best batsman in the World but in order to come back into the team, he will have to earn it.
