Nigerian Youngster Set for a Tottenham Job from Manchester United

Nigerian soccer youngster, Junior Nkwonta is set to move to Tottenham Hotspur from Manchester United. All U17 players are required to start a subsequent season on a scholarship arrangement. Only then are they allowed to sign their first professional contract on or after their 17th birthday.

Nkwonta is one of the academy players who are not offered a scholarship programme by United, and since a lot of Premier League sides have offered him trials, he has agreed to train with Tottenham Hotspur first with a view to securing a potential deal there.

Nkwonta is described as a mobile center back who is very strong on the ball, energetic, technically good and may have a future playing as a defensive midfielder or right-back in professional career.
