RB Leipzig and Atalanta Proceed to UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals
The return leg matches of the 2019/2020 UEFA Champions League round of 32 began today, and as expected, two teams have secured a spot each in the next round of the competition. Tottenham Hotspur went into the game today with a one goal deficit from their first leg home defeat to RB Leipzig while Atalanta took the trip to Spain with one mission - to seal their victory.

It was a rain of goals at the Camp de Mestalla when Valencia hosted Atalanta in the second leg match, hoping for a miracle that would help them overturn their 4-1 loss in the first leg. The visitors however left nothing to chance, but went all out for goals and secured yet a remarkable 4-3 victory over Valencia, the aggregate scores now 8-4 in favour of Atalanta.
This is how Valencia and last season's finalists, Tottenham say bye bye to the competition this season, probably hoping for a better outing when next time they qualify for it. RB Leipzig and Atalanta advance, with their gazes on the prize.
