Following the list of nomination of CAF African footballer of the year, Wilfred Ndidi and Odion Ighalo reacted to their nomination on their social page

Wilfred Ndidi is a 22 year old Nigerian forward who plays for Leicester City. He has been very consistent in the EPL have been as good over the past five seasons

Odion Ighalo is a Nigerian forward who is play Shanghai Greenland Shenhua. He made his debut for the Super Eagles in 2015. He featured at the 2018 World Cup and the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt where he finished the latter tournament in third place and being crowned top scorer.

It's good to have these two Super Eagles players in the CAF nomination shortlist even though they both have a low chance of winning it as against Sadio Mane
